Adam Mastrelli is the North American Sales lead for IMB Blockchain and Digital Assets and has proven expertise in sales, account management, strategic planning, and business development for emerging technologies like blockchain and AI. He was selected as a member of IBM Millennial Corps and is regularly invited as an intra-company speaker and sales trainer for teams around the world to help challenge others to continue to expand their own skill sets and horizons. Recently, Adam spent 3+ years as an intrapreneur building out IBM Blockchain Ventures & the IBM Blockchain Accelerator focused on designing and scaling blockchain networks. Adam currently hosts a show called ‘Secrets Unlocked’ airing on the Smithsonian Channel. Adam received his Bachelors in Sociology and Markets and Management from Duke University and an MBA in Emerging Markets Finance from the University of Florida. His competitive and team spirit were fostered as a Division 1 Soccer player at Duke, and he continues to push himself in every aspect of his life, completing the New York City marathon and the 56-mile Comrades ultra-marathon in South Africa. He is proficient in Italian and Spanish and can make small talk in Mandarin, Swedish and Zulu. Our conversation begins by diving into how IBM is working with Blockchain technology to service their clients and improve data tracking.
